Qatar was one of the countries in the Middle East that took immediate actions to prevent the COVID 19 risks. International and local travel restrictions were imposed by the officials with immediate effect. Now, since the conditions are getting better, the country is looking forward to opening its borders partially for travelers.
Although every resort such as Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is open for guests, they are mostly receiving local travellers as of now. The situation is the same at every restaurant and spa in Doha as well. They will continue to operate with limited capacities even if the officials decide to further lift the barriers. For international travellers who are allowed to visit Qatar, quarantine is mandatory and every traveller has to undergo a special health screening.
