Making it even easier to travel to Thailand, the country did away with the prior requirements of on arrival COVID-19 testing and quarantine for fully vaccinated tourists beginning from 1st May 2022. In a further update to the protocols, those who had only received part of the vaccination or had not been vaccinated could also enjoy quarantine-free entry though under one condition; while applying for the mandatory online Thailand Pass (https://tp.consular.go.th/), they must upload proof of a negative result of an RT-PCR test or one obtained from a professional Antigen Test Kit within 72 hours of embarkation.
The filling out of the Thailand Pass has been made easier as well; the required details include those on one’s passport, a health insurance policy with a minimum coverage of USD 10,000 and vaccination. With such reduction of restrictions, tourists can enjoy easy access to popular destinations like Bangkok where they can choose SHA++ certified hotels in Sukhumvit; such properties include the likes of Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 which feature enhanced health and hygiene measures for worry-free stays as well.
