A major real-estate consultancy firm in Sri Lanka, the Research Intelligence Unit revealed that real estate investments are still good investments in the long run. As headline inflation has been gradually declining in the recent few months, there is hope on the horizon that the sector will thrive once again as it used to.
The year 2022 has been full of uncertainties for Sri Lanka’s real estate and construction market, however, approximately 26,718 apartment units were closed out this year. 17.390 units have been completed this year, while the remaining is set to be completed by 2024. John Keells Properties, one of the pioneers in real estate in Sri Lanka have completed a few astonishing properties this year, and plan to unveil more in the upcoming years.
