Sancharaka Udawa 2015

The fifth edition of ‘Sancharaka Udawa 2015’ Sri Lanka’s pioneer and only domestic tourism fair was held at BMICH recently. The gala event was organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) jointly with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and was inaugurated by the Tourism and Sports Minister last Friday. CDC Events and Travels was the Professional Exhibition Organiser. The popular event consisted of over 200 stalls that included an exhibition from Slovakia displaying their products and services as well. This exhibition is conducted to create a platform to showcase Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs working in the tourism industry. Due to this exposure, it has helped from previous events held to establish countless small and medium ventures into stable and sought after businesses in the long run. The momentum of popularity it has gained through such a short time period stands as a testimony to prove its success in achieving its goals and objectives within a short duration. MICE Tourism is a leading arena that is promoted to highlight and showcase what is available in the tourism industry in Sri Lanka and Nkar MICE who is involved in event management Sri Lanka caters to was one of the leading participants in this exhibition to promote MICE in the island.
