Singapore used to be the number 1 ‘travel hub’ in the world, but the COVID 19 pandemic made this city almost an abandoned one with no to very few visitors. Even after the government decided to welcome back tourists, the country experienced a significantly less number of arrivals because the two-week quarantine process was mandatory to avoid the risks. These measures indeed helped Singapore to be a risk-free nation.
To accommodate meeting requirements of the business crowd, Singapore introduced its innovative concept ‘Connect@Changi’ which is the first-ever quarantine-free travel bubble in the world. This property is home to 40 air-tight meeting rooms in Singapore with glass walls. According to the experts, the world is not sure yet as to when this pandemic will end, and business meetings cannot be forever postponed without face-to-face encounters.
