Singapore, the Lion City, has once again solidified its reputation as a premier global travel destination by claiming the top spot as the world’s safest city for tourists. Forbes Advisor, a trusted source for personal finance and travel insights, conducted a comprehensive survey earlier this year and ranked Singapore as the most secure country to visit.
The survey evaluated 60 international cities across seven key metrics, including personal security risk, natural disaster risk, health risk, and crime risk. According to these metrics, each city was given a score out of 100 with lower scores signifying greater security. Singapore’s exceptional performance, with minimal risk across all categories, earned it a perfect score of 0 out of 100. This remarkable achievement placed it ahead of the other renowned cities in the top five, namely Tokyo, Toronto, Sydney, and Zurich respectively.
This latest feat reinforces the country’s appeal as an ideal destination for both leisure and business. Apart from enjoying the many experiences on offer, tourists can also easily find an ideal place to stay in Singapore at properties of renowned hospitality brands. Key hotels include Citadines Connect City Centre Singapore which offers accommodation near prominent attractions and the Central Business District, as it continues to attract travellers from around the world.
