Esports takes centre stage as Singapore cements its place on the global gaming map
Singapore will welcome some of the world’s best esports talent this November as BLAST partners with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to stage the BLAST Dota Slam Singapore. The tournament, running from 7–9 November 2025 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, marks BLAST’s first-ever Dota 2 event and promises an electrifying showcase of competitive gaming.
With a US$1 million prize pool and global broadcasts in over 20 languages across 50 territories, the event underscores Singapore’s position as a premier esports hub. This follows the sold-out BLAST Counter-Strike tournament held last year, reflecting strong local enthusiasm for world-class competitions.
The announcement comes as Singapore continues to expand its global events calendar, joining marquee names like Formula 1 and Coldplay concerts. For fans planning to attend, Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore offers stylish accommodation, including a convenient studio apartment near Marina Bay, making it the perfect base for esports enthusiasts heading to the tournament.
