Special Children’s Day Announced – A Fun-filled Day of Storytelling with One of Britain’s Most Celebrated Children’s Writers

The mind of a child is filled with many wondrous things, and it takes great skill and talent to be able to fill it with more wonder through storytelling. Nicholas Allan is an author who has mastered this art and who has added much panache by creating a whimsical twist on reality. The Queen’s Knickers, The Giant’s Loo Roll, The Prince and the Potty and Cinderella’s Bum are some of his stories that will give you a really good kick in the seat of the pants and send you on a laughing spree!

Mount Lavinia Hotel is renowned as a hotel in Colombo that hosts events of much flair and pizzazz. Thus, it came as no surprise when the hotel announced that the celebrated children’s author, Nicholas Allan will be coming on board to host a series of exciting workshops for children of all ages and abilities.

As part of the hotel’s 210-year celebratory event ‘Words on the Mount’, the workshops will be held on the 10th of July with the aim of ‘igniting the imagination of children and unlocking their creative potential through visual means.’
