Sun, surf, and seamless travel – Sri Lanka welcomes the world

Sri Lanka has made travel even more enticing: starting July 25, 2025, citizens from 40 countries—including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and the UAE—can now enjoy visa-free access to the island. Previously limited to just seven nations, this bold move aims to attract more visitors, boosting tourism while giving up $66 million in visa fees annually.

Eligible travellers must still secure an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before departure, which allows a visa-on-arrival valid for 30 days.

From pristine shores to cultural treasures, the island offers unforgettable experiences. For a luxurious stay, Araliya Beach Resort, Unawatuna provides modern comforts right on the sand, making it a top choice for those in search of a luxurious Unawatuna beach resort. Surf, sun, and serenity await every visitor ready to explore Sri Lanka’s coastal charms.
