The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau held a press conference in order to inform the media and create awareness about the plans that they have made for 2020 in order to promote Sri Lankan tourism to the public.
The SLTPB wanted to increase the exposure of Indian tourists to the country by providing lists of top things to do in Sri Lanka that may be of interest to visitors from that region. This year’s SATTE 2020 which is a three-day business networking trade show that encouraged over 1000 exhibitors including travel operators like Nature Odyssey to showcase the country’s versatility and appeal as a tourist industry to over 50 countries including 28 Indian states. India has been noted as one of the fastest growing market sources for tourism in Sri Lanka is making its way into the top 10.
