Travel has resumed across the world; however, the new norm is certainly not forgotten. Nonetheless, countries strive to make travel easier for international travellers and Sri Lanka is no different. Since international travel resumed, the country has taken many measures to ensure that the island is a safe place to explore.
Now that covid-19 seems to be controlled, Sri Lanka has decided to relax the strict protocols and bring in the visa on arrival facility to make things smoother for those travelling from overseas. Hotels like Tri Koggala, not to mention, restaurants near Galle have already seen an increase in number of visitors within the past few months with travel being made easier. An Electronic Travel Authorisation will now be set in place for passport holders of selected countries.
