Although Sri Lanka was also hit by the COVID- 19 threat, the conditions of the country are now getting better. This provides positive hopes for re-opening the country for tourists, and the officials have made guidelines as to how to do this strategically following all the health and safety protocols.
According to these guidelines, arrival and departure and also travelling within the country will face slight changes. Even with accommodation facilities, there will be a health certification scheme monitored by MOH and all 5-star resorts in Sri Lanka the likes of The Eden Resort & Spa and all other hospitality providers will have to adhere to these guidelines moving forward. However, considering the conditions, the officials are expected to make timely updates in their guidelines and policies.
