Sri Lanka warmly welcomes visitors once again to experience the island nation – Visit a paradise

Sri Lanka, with many beautiful and important destinations such as Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Yala, Galle, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Jaffna, and many more is now open to international visitors. The country was closed for international tourism for a considerably long time due to the COVID -19 pandemic. Gates of BIA, Colombo (the International Airport of Sri Lanka) was opened to international visitors in January 2021.

The country has taken many significant measures to ensure the safety of the travellers and the locals, and they are being regularly updated. Hotels near Colombo Airport the likes of Heritance Negombo and every other hotel follow these regulations, and they are being monitored by the government as well. Travellers should mandatorily present a negative PCR test result upon arrival and depending on the duration of the stay, the in-between tests happen.
