With 2022 almost coming to an end, the total number of tourists arriving in Sri Lanka for the month of October is reported to be 31,828. According to the statistics, this brings the influx of tourists for the year 2022 close to 558,068. India, Russia and the United Kingdom were ranked the first three tourist traffic generators for the year with a few other countries following closely behind. Despite the country’s ongoing battle against economic crisis, the Tourism industry is optimistic about the future with a host of new measures being taken to reach new heights.
