In a recently published list by Forbes Life of the ’10 Coolest Places to Visit in 2015′, wildlife parks in Sri Lanka received special mention for offering adventure travellers exotic safaris in this South Asian island. The list which is based on the input of luxury travel manager, Owen Gaddis highlights such wildlife parks as the Yala National Park which is well known the world over for its leopard safaris. Visitors planning to engage in such tours can look to stay at a Yala safari hotel such as WildTrails Yala which belongs to Themes Resorts & Spas. Wilpattu National Park is another popular place for safaris in the country and visitors can expect to see a wide range of creatures apart from leopards at parks such as these including elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, deer and indigenous and migratory bird species as well. Iceland, Morocco, Tasmania, Colombia and Japan are among the other destinations mentioned on the list.
