The tourism authority of Thailand has predicted that the total tourist footfall to the country will increase up to 40 million in the year 2019. This forecast has been announced with the statistical data that has been obtained to date. The authority has also predicted the total tourist footfall for 2018 will exceed 37.25 million. With the ongoing projects to improve the industry of tourism, the government expects a 10% growth from the revenue that has been expected from this year. With the prediction, the country has increased the speed of the ongoing development projects and it has also been noted that remote resort properties the likes of Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort which is a hotel in Chiang Rai region along with many others are making necessary arrangements to accommodate more tourists.
