Thailand Eases Rules for Foreign Visitors to Reboot Tourism – The sector gradually improves

As tourism begins to pick up, Thailand has also decided to make it easier for foreign visitors by relaxing the covid rules just a little bit. The measures agree upon will also help reduce costs overall in the local tourism industry and helps the country keep up with all the other major tourist destinations.

Visitors who have been fully vaccinated will not need to go through with the tedious process of multiple PCR tests. Instead, a self-antigen test will be sufficient to get to the destination. Confirmed hotel bookings will no longer be a mandatory requirement either. Khao Lak hotels the likes of Avani+ Khao Lak Resort will be able to see a better figure in terms of occupancy soon with the recovery of the tourism sector in Thailand.
