Thailand plans to track its tourists using digital wristbands

Although Thailand was closed for tourists due to the COVID- 19 global pandemic, it has now opened its doors for those who travel, but under severe supervision and monitoring. The country received a batch of tourists from China last October and it was the first set of tourists to visit Thailand after the pandemic.

As the country plans to receive more tourist arrivals, they have introduced a ‘Smart Band’ which acts as a tracking device as well as a temperature checker to be worn by every traveller who comes to the country. If you have already planned a holiday in one of the Koh Samui resorts the likes of Avani+ Samui Resort soon, you too will get to experience this digital innovation, and explore its other benefits as well.
