Thailand Removes All Pandemic-Borne Travel Restrictions

With the hope of welcoming more tourists to the country, Thailand recently announced the complete elimination of all pandemic-borne restrictions. As per this new measure, travellers will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative PCR test to enter the country. The decision came under the country’s new reclassification of Covid 19 from a dangerous communicable disease to a communicable disease under surveillance. Added to this, Visa exempt travellers visiting the country can now stay up to 45 days. The easing of the restrictions is seen as a welcoming sign for both domestic and International travel and the country is hoping to welcome a multitude of tourists who yearn to experience the vibrant culture, cuisine and natural beauty of Thailand. If you are looking for a hotel in Chiang Rai to have a colourful vacation, the lavish Anantara Golden Triangle might be an ideal choice.
