According to an official, Thailand will remove the requirement for travellers — who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 — to take a test and short quarantine when they enter the country from May onwards: This is the latest attempt to help the country’s tourism industry recover — after it was affected by the COVID pandemic. Visitors are advised to take antigen self-tests instead of gaining entry to the country through the “Test & Go” scheme, where they must quarantine in an approved hotel until they get the result of an on-arrival test. The latest step comes after abolishing the pre-departure test requirement to help international travellers explore the Asian country with ease.
