The perfect time for an escape into paradise. As of 1st February 2022, Thailand opened its borders to fully vaccinated travellers to enter the country without having to face quarantine restrictions. Following the introduction of the revised Test & Go programme, travellers can now freely roam around by presenting a negative PCR test on day one. Guests will then be required to take another PCR test and await results in their Phuket or Siam hotel in Bangkok before stepping out once again on their island excursion.
The country also introduced a visa exemption scheme where tourists from the U.K., Australia, Canada, the USA along with the addition of a few other countries are allowed for a stay of 45 days without a visa to enjoy their vacations at lodgings like the SHA Extra+ certified Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. In addition to the basic safety measures, guests are also requested to download an app that enables relevant authorities to track their movements, ensuring that Thailand is a safe land to wander in once again.
