The Maldives is the world’s sunny side and it is now one of the safest places to holiday in the world as well. This island nation is close to covering the entire population where vaccinations are concerned. It is not just this, but the Maldives seeks to help guests to vaccinate as well with their new concept to be implemented.
Abdulla Mausoom, the island’s Tourism Minister stated the Indian vaccine requires two doses which are to be 10 weeks apart. Therefore, guests have the freedom to stay at luxury Maldives resorts for this period as they wish. OZEN Life Maadhoo and other resorts will have special packages for this as well. The Maldives even took part in the roadshow in Russia with a delegation including the Tourism Minister himself along with representatives of 13 companies and 19 participants to market the idea.
