The Rising Tourist Arrivals in January 2021 Make High Hopes for Maldives Tourism – Rising again!

Although the year 2020 was not as great as planned for the tourism industry of the Maldives, the year 2021 has already started being awesome. By the end of January 2021, 92,103 tourists had visited the country, making the daily average arrivals at 2971.

The Maldives received most travellers from Europe and Asians, Americans and Africans also have significantly come to the country. Every Maldives luxury resort the likes of Atmosphere Kanifushi is now open to welcome international guests and they operate with strict and well-structured health and safety measures to stay away from COVID-19 risks. Although quarantine measures are not in place in the Maldives, the tourists are strictly warned not to have any interactions with the locals during their tours.
