The Sacred Randoli Perahera of Kandy

The Kandy Randoli Perahara, a segment of the Esala Perahera is part of an ancient tradition that has been passed down from generations, ideally held in July or August, as July is the month to celebrate Lord Buddha’s first teaching, following his enlightenment.
