The Maldives is set to introduce a new home to accommodate a massive number of 20,000 people in a floating city, which has already commenced construction. Therefore, tourists hoping to visit this stunning island nation will be able to choose from a wide range of Maldives resort rooms and suites options for their future vacations. The archipelago already hosts a large number of resorts and hotels such as the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, which draws in tourists from every corner of the world.

As reported on Positive News on the 14th of October 2022, the project is set to conclude by the year 2027 when a great deal of restaurants, houses, and shops, along with many other futuristic construction models will be sheltered. With an aim of providing a liveable future for locals, the city is being built on sustainable grounds as a joint project by the Government of the Maldives and Waterstudio, a Netherlands-based architecture studio.
