The Emirate of Abu Dhabi excelled with the highest safety index of 86.8 and the lowest crime levels recorded at 13.1. Additionally, three other emirates, namely Ajman, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah, also secured positions among the top six safest cities globally.
In stark contrast, Caracas in Venezuela ranked the lowest on the safety scale, with a crime index of 82.2 and a safety score of 17.8. Numbeo’s crime index provides an estimation of the overall level of crime in a city or country, with rankings covering 329 cities.
Abu Dhabi’s recognition as the safest city underscores its commitment to ensuring the well-being and security of its residents and visitors, further solidifying its reputation as a leading global destination.
