Singapore is contemplating reducing restrictions for those who have received the COVID-19 vaccination be it regarding travel or gatherings; the multi-ministry task force further announced in June 2021 that discussions were being held with other nations for the mutual recognition of digital vaccine certificates as well. Singapore has put in place stringent protocols for containing the pandemic and has ramped up its vaccination drives to get more and more residents vaccinated.
It hopes to begin travel bubbles with different destinations the world over in the future which will enable vaccinated travellers to cross borders with reduced restrictions. Likewise, the country has adopted strict guidelines for accommodation for travellers as well including at hotels in Singapore city centre; catering to business and leisure guests alike, properties such as Grand Park City Hall have been certified ‘SG Clean’ for hygiene and cleanliness measures exceeding global standards.
