Owing to the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Thailand has been facing an uphill climb on their road to recovery. This came as a positive ring for Bangkok city hotels as tourists from every corner of the world flocked to hotels like Avani Atrium Bangkok in search of the perfect vacation destination. By June 2022 the country faced a vast improvement in their economy and believed that the revitalised tourism sector was a major contributing factor.
Trade surplus dollars of 2.1 billion were made in June as a result of the growing numbers in exports (a rise of 11.1%). The Bank of Thailand had been constantly monitoring inflation, global economic issues and COVID-19 outbreaks, as mentioned by Chayawadee Chai Anant, Senior Director of BOT while believing that the momentum of improvement in the economic situation is continuing in the second half of the year.
