In an online article published recently, it was revealed that there had been an increase in the number of tourist arrivals at Bali’s main airport, the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The article by Indonesian magazine Tempo also highlighted the fact that the foreign tourist arrivals from January to October was at 5.2 million; this was an increase of 6.5% when compared with the same period in 2017.
This growth is in turn expected to benefit the tourism industry including the hospitality sector. At present, the island offers varied accommodation options ranging from Kuta hotels to Seminyak resorts including the likes of Montigo Resorts Seminyak. When it comes to tourist arrivals in Bali, Chinese tourists make up the largest number followed by those from Australia and India. It is hoped the number of arrivals will continue to increase as Bali gears up for 2019.
