Travelling to Vietnam Under Relaxed COVID-19 Restrictions

As per the update on the website of the Government of Canada on the 14th of July 2022, travelling to Vietnam and residing at a hotel like Anantara Hoi An Resort requires knowledge of up-to-date information on the country’s COVID-19 restrictions. Therefore, before planning things to do in Hoi An during your vacation, do ensure to tick off the safety requirements of Vietnam.

While COVID-19 is still very much among us, the restrictions on entry for many countries have already been relaxed. Travellers should be vaccinated before their departure and are required to carry proof of vaccination with them to present at public and private services and spaces when required. The majority of the country’s people still wear masks; therefore, it is only respectful to do so by tourists as well.
