Vietnam’s Tourist Arrivals are up 19% in May 2018 – An Increasing Trend in Tourist Footfall!

Vietnam, being one of the world’s popular tourist destinations is seeing an increased trend in tourist footfall this year. The general statistics office of Vietnam has reported that the number of tourists who arrive at the country has been increased by 19% in May comparing with last year.

The Authority of tourism in Vietnam has predicted that the number will continue to rise until the end of this year. The authorities also state that most of the tourists are preferring to visit the remote destinations in Vietnam such as Mui Ne, Hoi An and many other island destinations. This has been identified as resorts like the Anantara Hoi An Resort which is a popular Hoi An hotel along with many other island resorts have been receiving more and more visitors than usual.
