The ‘Visa on Arrival’ has been launched in Indonesia for 86 countries in several regions. Nationals from the selected countries can receive visas on arrival if their passport has a validity period of 6 or months and the fee for this service has been announced as 500,000 IDR. There are also strict COVID-19 regulations that have also been relaxed for those who are fully vaccinated. However, a negative PCR test is still a must for those who have not been vaccinated.
Foreign nationals have been overjoyed by this news as Indonesia rapidly trends as a popular tourist destination, especially its unique landscapes such as Bintan. You can witness many local events in Bintan enriched with their culture, habits, and livelihood by taking a walk in the neighbourhood around your accommodation of choice such as The Residence Bintan.
