The VnExpress Marathon has been rescheduled to be held on November 28th, 2020. The organisers of the event, VnExpress and Hanoi People’s Committee, decided to postpone the race for the second time from August to November as the pandemic resurfaced in the country. It was initially postponed earlier this year to make sure all participants remain safe amid the second wave of COVID-19. Those who are based in a Hanoi hotel the likes of Pan Pacific Hanoi can look forward to purchasing BIBs until the 4th of November if they fancy being a spectator to this exciting event.
Postponement of the VNExpress Marathon was initiated on the 29th of July, following the guidelines brought forward at the meeting of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. The meeting was chaired by Vu Duc Dam, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam.
