All travel for the past year had been very risky and travel for leisure as well as business had to stop. Still, once the virus came under some sort of control, the first type of travel to resume was business travel. Many countries have seen a major spike in business travel since opening their doors to international travellers and Qatar is no different.
For this year, Qatar has already reached up to 20 per cent of post-COVID business travel. This alone has confirmed that business travel is very important for companies around the world and is ultimately inevitable. Meeting rooms in Doha at hotels like Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels By Tivoli are being frequented for business discussions so far. There is still more to come in the future as the situations begin to improve around the world with the vaccine out there.
