World’s best dive destination 2018 – Maldives a paradise destination!

The Maldives has won the most prestigious titles of World’s leading dive destination 2018 at the Grand Finale of the World Travel Awards that was held on the 1st of December. The awarding ceremony took place at the Pátio da Galé which is located in Lisbon, Portugal. The Maldives has won this award competing for head-on with some of the other leading dive destinations such as Mauritius and Seychelles. World Travel Awards is considered as one of the highest rated awarding ceremonies that happen in the Travel and Hospitality industry and the accolades and awards given in this event are regarded as the ultimate hallmark of quality.

The islands of the Maldives are surrounded by a wealth of dive sites where delivers get to see an amazing display of marine creatures such as corals, reef fish, manta rays sharks and so much more. Many Maldives pool villas and unique resort properties the likes of Maafushivaru Maldives are located close to these dive sites and which almost all of the properties have diving in their list of activities which they offer their guests. These are one of the majour reasons that contributed for the Maldives securing this award.
