Thailand is one of the prominent South East Asian countries that attract large numbers of tourists from across the world throughout the year. In a bid to increase the tourist influx, Koh Samui, one of the favourite visiting places by travellers is about to receive its new Yacht Port. Once the government has completed feasibility studies on the best location to build the Port, private organisations will be invited to invest in the project to contribute their share in developing a convenient modern day Yacht Port that would suit the needs of visiting travellers from other countries. One of the primary goals is to attract the foreign yacht and super yacht owners by adjusting regulations in order to facilitate them with revised and tourist friendly tax levies and by extending their stay period. With the increase of foreign yacht owners, crew and passengers, Koh Samui hotels such as Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort are sure to benefit with more stayovers in the near future.
