Zambia has removed its visitor visa requirements for many countries including China, the United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea, Australia, Gulf Estates, and the European Union. This initiative was taken as a step towards boosting the country’s tourism and doubling the industry’s revenue. In Zambia’s Tourism Master Plan from 2018 to 2038, the 20-year development strategy, the visitor visa requirement was recommended to be removed. The plan was put into action in 2019.
Zambia is home to many natural attractions that have been taken as an advantage to promote the country’s tourism. Victoria Falls is one such main attraction that is visited by many.
