Zambia Targets 2.2 Million International Tourists in 2025 – A renewed focus on partnerships and connectivity drives tourism growth

Zambia is setting its sights on attracting over 2.2 million global visitors in 2025, following a record-breaking 2 million international arrivals last year. This remarkable growth is largely attributed to the Zambia Tourism Agency’s (ZTA) collaborative efforts with global public relations firms, effectively promoting the nation to an audience of 1.5 billion people worldwide. The ZTA anticipates an 8–9% increase in international arrivals, signalling a promising trajectory for Zambia’s tourism sector.

Travellers exploring this vibrant destination will find an array of attractions and activities, among other things to do in Zambia. From experiencing the majesty of Victoria Falls to enjoying world-class hospitality at a property such as Avani Victoria Falls Resort, Zambia offers unforgettable adventures. Expanding air connectivity, a priority for the Zambia Airports Corporation, is expected to further enhance accessibility and elevate the country’s appeal on the global tourism stage.
