20 best places to visit in 2020–Sri Lanka is the Place to Be

Sri Lanka has started the new year with fresh vibes and at the top of the game by being named one of the 20 best places to visit in 2020 at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2019.

Sri Lanka was also nominated as one of the top Asian countries for solo female travellers. The writer for Lonely Planet, Sofia Levin recommended exploring Colombo before heading up to the hill country, staying in one of the 5-star hotels in Nuwara Eliya and heading down south to catch the surf or up north to the cultural triangle.

Sri Lanka’s unique luxury hotels were also praised by the attendees who brought to attention one of a kind hotel like Heritance Tea Factory which is placed in a restored tea factory with some of the machinery still in place.
