2017 King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament – Four Days of Ele-Tastic Fun

The King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament recently took place recently from the 9th-12th March 2017. The four day event happens to be Thailand’s biggest charity event, reeling in large sums that are then donated towards various elephant charity projects. Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort played host to the festivities as part of their corporate social responsibility projects. The popular Bangkok resort and spa had a number of room packages and deals on offer for tourists who were flying down from all over the globe. Ten teams were brought down for the elephant polo games, including New Zealand’s All Black Rugby stars as well as other celebrities and professional polo players. Other than the polo itself, several more fun-filled functions involving elephants took place, including an opening Parade, a children’s educational day and more.
