2017 MotoGP starts with Sepang tests in Malaysia – Introducing Second Generation RS-GP Machines to the Racing World

The number of things to do in Sepang is always manifold, however, the highlight of the month earlier this year was the racing car tests that were held here. Following the winter holidays since November’s Valencia MotoGP tests in Spain, the 2017 MotoGP season officially came to a start on the 30th of January with the Sepang tests taking place in Malaysia. The holidays were utilized by the Racing Department to develop the relatively new RS-GP bike. Spanish motorcycle racer Aleix Espargaro, part of the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, claimed the RS-GP has been performing impressively in the tests and made a good match to his style of riding. Hotels such as the AVANI Sepang Goldcoast Resort were among some of the options available for the fans who came down from all over the world to watch their favourite riders take to the tracks.
