2023 will be a dream year for SL Tourism – Welcome back to the paradise island!

Sri Lanka’s tourism industry is aiming high for 2023, with a goal of attracting twice as much as visitors to the tropical paradise as the number of tourists who visited Sri Lanka in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic caused travel disruptions around the world. Tourism Minister Harin Fernando announced on a visit to India how 2023 will be a dream year for Sri Lanka Tourism.

To achieve this goal, the Sri Lankan government has implemented a number of measures to make the country more attractive to tourists. These include upgrading infrastructure such as airports and roads and investing in marketing campaigns to promote the country’s natural beauty, cultural attractions, and adventure sports. As the most popular cities in the country, Colombo, Mirissa, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, and Kandy hotels are receiving high demand these days including tranquil hotels such as Cinnamon Citadel Kandy.
