While tourism in London thrived before the pandemic, COVID-19 significantly impacted the city’s diminishing figures of tourist arrivals to hotels near London Bridge. Therefore, new strategies were introduced to market London, its sites, activities, and accommodation options like Pan Pacific London in 2021.
The Let’s Do London campaign, which was launched in May 2021 has gained a total of £289 since its inception, proving to be one of the most effective steps taken by the London Tourism Recovery Board, and delivered by London & Partners. The campaign was led by the Mayor of London and has been able to generate £28 for every £1spent, as reported on The Drinks Business news website on 18th November 2022. While the city is in the midst of many challenges, Let’s Do London continues to shine like a ray hope of hope for its citizens and its future.
