Thailand Went Digital: New Arrival Card Launched 1 May 2025
Streamlining entry, one digital step at a time
Starting 1 May 2025, Thailand implemented the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) as a replacement for the traditional TM.6 paper form. All foreign travellers — whether arriving by air, land, or sea — were required to complete this online form before entering the country. The TDAC, led by Thailand’s Immigration Bureau, supported the nation’s move toward a fully digital immigration process. It aimed to reduce paperwork, ease congestion, and offer greater convenience at border checkpoints.
Travellers were able to fill out the TDAC up to three days before arrival and submit it individually or as a group via tdac.immigration.go.th. Key details required included a passport and travel information, accommodation, and a health declaration.
After navigating Thailand’s digital entry system, a restful destination like Khao Yai, with Khao Yai accommodation options such as Lacol Khaoyai, offers a refreshing change of pace.

Those unable to complete the TDAC in advance could seek assistance at designated help points at immigration, though pre-submission was highly encouraged.
