A big boost to the Omani tourism industry – Positive hopes after a while!

The Omani Government decided to allow travellers from 103 countries to come to Oman and allowed them to spend 2 weeks in Oman without a pre-booked visa. This encouraged many travellers from all around the world to consider Oman as their next holiday destination.

Although the winter season (which is the high season for Omani Tourism) was unfavourable to the country due to COVID-19, Oman’s domestic travel industry saw smooth progress. Some of the best hotels in Oman the likes of Al Falaj Hotel are likely to have received bookings from many domestic travellers during the past couple of months. Travel specialists say that this is a good trend in terms of local tourism and that they can soon have hopes of getting foreign visitors as well.
