A Jazzy Wartime Tour in Brisbane

Australia opened its doors to visitors for an unusual tour that began on the 17th of June 2021 and runs until the 12th of March 2023. The ‘Walking in Wartime’ tour was designed to explore how the city of Brisbane operated in the days of World War II. The tour, which is still in operation begins from the Brisbane City Hall Museum, located a 9-minute ride away or a 10-minute shortcut walk away from Oaks Brisbane on Felix Suites. Therefore, residents of nearby river view apartments in Brisbane will be able to reach the starting point within a few minutes.

For AUD 25, visitors will be transported to the Battle of Brisbane, jazz music, Yankee soldiers and true stories from the days of the war, all within a 120-minute tour, letting guests in on wartime secrets of codebreakers that may have been pivotal in its victory.
