A New Beginning for Chiang Mai Night Safari – Ownership Set to Change

The popular tourist attraction, the Chiang Mai Night Safari is expected to see a change in ownership which currently comes under the Pinkanakorn Development Agency (PDA). This news was published in a July online edition of the Bangkok Post which offered further information as well; if the law being proposed is passed, the rights to operate this night safari will be handed over to the Zoological Park Organisation (ZOO) which is a state agency.

The Chiang Mai Night Safari which is within easy reach of 5 star hotels in Chiang Mai including properties such as Anantara Chiang Mai Resort continues to be a hit. This well-known site had over 600,000 tourist visitors in 2018 and it is hoped that numbers and revenue will increase in 2019. In addition, plans are underway to improve onsite facilities and services too.
