A new tourism project to develop Dubai countryside

Dubai Countryside to be Developed for Tourism – Dubai Economic Agenda Also Launched
As part of its initiatives to boost tourism, Dubai is developing its countryside and wilderness area. This project was launched last year by Dubai’s ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the prime minister and vice president as well as the minister of defence for the UAE. The areas to be developed include Al-Aweer, Al-Lusaili, Al-Faqaa and Lehbab; other key aspects of this project will be the creation of a 100 km long tourist path, stations for desert sports and nature reserves.

In addition to this, the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) was launched as well; this was put in the spotlight on the Skift website on 18th January 2023, which also revealed that one of the agenda’s objectives is to achieve an economic target of $8.7 trillion over the next decade. An additional goal is to make this cosmopolitan emirate among the world’s top three international destinations for business and tourism. It continues to be a popular choice for those heading to the UAE who can enjoy safe accommodation at a luxury hotel in Dubai; these include centrally located properties such as Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Dubai that cater to leisure and corporate travellers alike.
