The recent updates from the hospitality sectors in Cambodia reported that, Anantara Angkor Resort, following a transformative renovation unveiled the region’s latest presidential suites. Named as the Henri Mouhot and Anantara Explorer suites, these latest additions to the retreat were another successful project by the Thailand-based interior designers.

The 2,530 square foot Henri Mouhot Suite featuring two bedrooms was built as a tribute to the French explorer and naturalist who notified the Westerners of the ruins of Angkor. Ranked high among the best luxury hotels in Siem Reap, the resort has dedicated the Anantara Explorer Suite to another explorer, Jim Thompson. Featuring a wall panelling along with a motive dividing the master bedroom from the lounge, the suite is said to reflect the Jim Thompson House found in Bangkok. Using imported Thai silk and other fabrics, the suites were said to be designed to resemble a Khmer summer house.
