Abu Dhabi Awards was launched in 2007 in a move to inspire institutions to enhance performance in delivering superior service to stakeholders. Proven performance in the aviation industry of the country evidently influences the travel industry of the economy thus attracting tourists to internationally renowned resorts in Abu Dhabi such as the luxurious Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts. Travel Trade Weekly further reported that Abu Dhabi Airports is applying for all the award categories.
